when my ex and i split i went through about 3 months that i couldnt watch a chick flick or see a jewerly commercial without screaming at the tv. My son finally pointed it out to me one day when he insinuated that i was getting bitter because i was cussing out the poor jewelry store spokesperson. its funny now but it was starting to get on his nerves. lol

all i can say is those little things like songs and movies dont seem to bother you so much after a while. i actually caught myself singing one of "our" songs one day and didnt even realize it until i was 1/2 way through. it didnt make me sad anymore - it was just another song. Once you get to the point of indifference - neither love nor hate - these things wont bring up such memories.
