TOPIC: Humility Is A Man/Woman Who's Glad He/She Is Alive
Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.
By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.
For that and u I am truely grateful.
They told me, "You've got to get
out and work a little; you've got
to give." They told me that giving
was living, and that living was
loving, and loving is a HP.
You get just a little sobriety, and
you get just a little humility. Not
much, just a little. Not the humility
of this and that, but the humility
of a man/woman who's glad he or
she is alive and can serve.
You get just a little tolerance,
not too much, but just enough to
sit and listen to the other guy.
Humility is not a station we arrive at;
it's a way of traveling.
