Richard,

Do you believe you are standing here at this great milestone? One month! Wow. A far cry from your very first post (where I found you) "I am at the end of my rope." You are no longer at that point in your life and I couldn't be prouder. You have worked hard and found a new way of living. Congrats with all my heart!

Thanks everybody and congrats to you all also!

A month ago I was a real mess, but I've cut the rope now, and broken free.

I'm 54 and have not been sober this long since my early 30's.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks eh?

I attribute my personal success in a great part to this website,
and all the wonderful people here.
