Hey,
I'm not doing well and to tell the truth..I'm getting pretty tired of fighting this disease. Is anyone willing to talk with me...maybe a "friend?" I'm just trying to hold on...

I actually just got back from a very emotional MADD panel, where I had to face alot of wrongs that I have done as a result of my drinking.
I would love to listen, and talk to you. I know how you are feeling.

I won't lie just now I was laying in bed watching T.V and I thought I need something to change the way I feel. Thats the hardwiring we need to rewire.
stay in there before you know it you will wake up to another day sober.

We're here for you, but let us be, K? I've sent you msgs and am not hearing back from you. You're NOT alone --- and it sucks feeling like we are and that we don't have a friend in the world! That's totally not true and that's exactly what our disease tells us and wants us to believe! Support is the key here! Not just here on a website, but where you can look another alcoholic right in the eye and say "Oh, I know exactly what you mean"... etc., etc., etc! Stepping OUT of our comfort zone is what we gotta do to start living and start healing! People are people and will disappoint, however, there is safety in numbers, GF!
I said before and I'll say it again... AA is great fellowship and you can take what you want and leave the rest. It's all about (or should be about) one alcoholic helping another. There is always something I identify with at a mtg and with others. If AA isn't for you, there are other support groups out there and this site has resources available. The bottom line is that we can't do this on our own---it's too much for us! Alcohol and whatever whatever has kicked our a** for a long long time. If we knew how to master it we wouldn't be here, any of us.
I luv ya, friend! If you need to post all night and day long... then do so cuz there's always someone here wanting to help because that helps them stay sober. Again, "One alcoholic working/helping/talking to another alcoholic! That's how it all got started to begin with!

Thinking of you this morning and sent you a VM! How's it going today? Are you feeling better. Sometimes I feel completely nuts cuz I can go to extreme emotions on a flip of a coin! Neurotic??? I think we are finally "feeling" stuff and it gets overwhelmingly difficult to know how to deal with it. Just my thoughts! Get that stuff out of you and over to us today, K???!!! We care mucho, GF!

Hey everyone,
thank you all for being willing to help. I posted this and then I pretty much took off instead of staying here. I am sadly back to day 1, but I will keep trying until I make it. Thanks again, I really appreciate you all.
