dreams

My 19 year old son came to my house this morning and tried to wake me up. I told him to come back later, I wasn't getting up yet. He said "but I'm your son", and I said "I don't care, leave me alone". So I called him to apologize and he laughed, not knowing what I was talking about. Does anyone else have dreams that are this realistic?

The dreaming has been pretty weird but not that one.
Mine are more realistic so I would never dream about my 21 year old son waking me up. This morning and most mornings I am the one waking him up. Gamers are nuts staying up all night shooting Zombies.

Oh my gosh when I was drinking alot & my first many days of sobriety my dreams were a steven king movie! To the point I would usually get up & have to watch TV to get my heart to stop racing. They have gotten better the last couple nights.

But yes I have had some crazy ones!

OMG, all the time! I am constantly apologizing or reacting to situations I only dream about. It is so frustrating! I have a hard time too dissociating dreams from reality. I often wake up thinking I've done something wrong, when in reality I only dreamed about it.

Yep, count me in. I often have dreams that are so realistic I spend the first part of the day trying to figure out if it was real or not. I don't like it, because that never happens with GOOD dreams, only really weird or bad ones.

Count me in as well. In addition, they seem to stay with me all day...

Well pointed out TSH, Ive had a couple of good dreams lately but they in no way have the staying power of the nightmarish ones I suffer most nights, wonder why that is!
