You do inspire
So, I have been reading the posts and a lot of people are saying how they wish they could inspire someone or give someone else hope. Every single person in here is inspirational. Whether it is because you are having a great day and wanted to encourage others, or maybe you are having a bad day and are just hanging on and toughing it out. Whether it is coming back after a relapse and saying that you are going to give it another go or coming here and saying that you are ready to change. I have realized that people are going to come and go on this board, but I can say with certainty that somewhere along the way they were inspired.

Excellent post That I would echo 100%
Even the people that are feeling weak, or even slipped up. They inspire us all, And keep us together like a family. And like in all families there are those their to pick us up & encouarge!

What have you got to feel badly about Joanie - time and again I see you give of yourself freely and without expecting anything in return...that's about as good as we humans get

Thank you, Dee. I just feel like I don't keep up with things on here the way I should, & sometimes can't find the right words to penetrate the fog some are in when they come to us for help. I myself have gained so much by being here. I have many notes I've jotted down as I've read things people have shared, and things said to me to try and help, including many from you, Dee. When I get down I review those words of wisdom and they take the pain away. I guess I would like to be able to give back more than I do.

You are so right - at every corner in this place there is inspiration. I get it from the stories, from the recovery, and really big time from the HONESTY and ACCEPTANCE.
