I have been avoiding putting a soberiety date in my profile because I didn't want to be held accountable. Well, today I edited my profile and put down my soberiety date. It was only yesterday, but I think now that I have something to go off of I will be more determined or committed to actually stop giving in to my addiction.

ONLY yesterday...........yesterday its just great.....believe me i remember being 24hrs sober a few times...some by choice some not.

At my worse i counldnt go an hour without a drink.....unless id passed out.

and i wasnt fussy about what it was either..we all start with that first 24hrs.

A positive move. I just went back and checked my profile and I had it filled in. I don't even remember filling it in but I guess we just fill out forms like sheep.

Gotta check on mine! Glad to hear your thinking about accountability! I've never really known that word -- or applied it rather. I do have accountability in my life today and am grateful for it... although a foreign feeling!

Glad you're here and it doesn't matter if you have 1 day, 10 days, 1 month, one year.... it's all about today!... and not drinking just for today! I'm smiling at you!
