Sober Check-in...
I read all the posts from new members.
We are all here for hope and help.
I can say for myself that it is nice to finish a day sober and go to bed sober.
Wake up feeling great and ready to go through another day, Hopefully sober.
I like to read posts just before I go to bed in fact. I think it helps.
If you like and if it helps, Check in and post you made it through the day sober,Let us all know you made it through your day.:ghug
I am going to hit the sack now and I made it through my 55th day sober.
Good Night Everyone!

Congrats to everyone!!!
And YES!!!! If anyone read my posts earlier I was really worried about a party I was attending tonight! The up side, there were quite a few cops that were going to be at the party, that also happen to be recovering alcoholics. My Aunt had begged the kids to not have alcohol at the surprise party. She said although she knew my uncle (who has been sober for 30 yrs) would have no problem she wasn't sure of the others.
NO temptations
Came home & checked in here!

I am wrapping up day... one hundred and something, let me count... 116 I think. One more week till I hit 4 months.
(And 4 months ago there was no way in H3LL I would have believed it would stick!)
I'd like to throw out a big, huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of the newcomers who have survived a sober weekend! For some it was their first sober weekend in a long time and that is incredible. Y'all are doing a great job and I'm really glad to see you all checking in here regularly already. Keep up the good work! You can rest your head on your pillow tonight thinking about how great you'll feel tomorrow morning.

Good job all who made it thru the day! This is the end of my day 6, and I'm looking forward to one of those uncommon 'natural' yawns. Not a me made alcohol yawn, but a real frickin no booze I'm tired and really sleepy yawn.
Man I love to yawn.
Man I love to yawn.
It's time to change!

Congrats to all of us!
Day 10 here and am feeling a heck of a lot better than 10 days ago.... I'm sooo glad to be in the solution and not in the problem (the drink) today!
All my love and support goes out to those who slipped and made it back here!!!! And to all those new to this site, I hope you're finding the support, identification and warmth here on this forum! It's awesome! We're all in the same boat: trying to do life and live without the drug and/or alcohol! We're a family, and I love you all!
