haven't drank today

So far I have made it through the day without drinking. It has been really hard and I have been going back and forth debating. I am feeling really anxious right now. Usually I have given in by now, but like someone else stated my desire to stay/get sober is starting to become strong than my desire to drink. I think I will be sticking pretty close to these boards tonight

Way to go seemethrough. You can make it through the day with a little help from your friends at SR.
Play the Beatles song " Alittle help from my friends" and think good thoughts. You can do it.

thanks for the positive feedback and support. I made it through the day and am off to bed...gotta get some rest so I can fight the good fight again tomorrow.
