Ahhh california
Well now that I know how to send photos, thought I would share a photo I took today. Look at how still that lake is!! You would not believe this is the middle of January.
This is Clearlake, California. The small lake is Borax Lake. This is where Borax orignally came from till they had to find larger. This is taken from our deck!
I have to share this because otherwise if I wait too long in between, I'll totally forget how to send photos. Actually, hope this shows up! Watch it'll be blank. How embarrassing!! Just remember, I'm old so be nice if it doesn't show up. LOL
Ann will really appreciate this beautiful lake.
Hugs, Dev

OMG~~Absolutely gorgeous. Your one lucky lady to be living out there where the sun shines most of the year. My brother is in Encinitis and calls me at least 3'xs a week checking on our snowfall.......I wish I could figure out the picture thing on here too...Good for you. Your a step ahead of me. Thanks for sharing and you have a beautiful view from that deck....Smiles, Bonnie
I would especially appreciate that view right about now... guess what... it's snowing again, or should I say still!!! Thank goodness we know how to get around in it up here, but enough already. At least it is above zero degrees today! Thanks for sharing, Dev!
I can just imagine how that view adds to your serenity. I love water and woods and you lucky girl have both. Enjoy and don't worry about the pics size. It is still beautiful. We just got another 8 inches of snow and although it can be beautiful, I am ready to say enough. Hugs, Marle
Dev,
Such a beautiful picture.
It looks like serenity.
Sure could use some of that sun, we have about 14 inches of snow here.
And snow is pretty..........the very first time it falls.

Beautiful picture. You can get a photobucket account and link to the photo too, they are easy to set up.
We are in the 40's here in the Mat-Su Valley (just outside of Anchorage) and it is really odd, but a nice break.

Hi Guys
Well, you didn't say which picture you liked best! Was it the small one or the larger one?? LOL
Here's a photo of our gorgeous mountain on the other side of our home. Mount Konocti. We have the lake view and mountain view as well.
Thank you Lord!
Hugs, Devastated

Hi Bonnie, did you find your avatar yet? LOL Where was it?
Latte, is that a photo of Mat-Su Valley? Looks so gorgeous. In the 40's that's not how I picture Alaska to be. I always thought it was like below 0 all the time. Guess not huh?
It's in the 40's here in the mornings. Actually, it snowed here in December. This is just really unusual weather we're experiencing here.
Mr. Dev's birthday is this month, and I always say to him why would anyone want to have a birthday in January.
At least you all know how to drive in snow. I sure wouldn't know how to do that. When it snows here, and it doesn't snow a lot, I don't dare leave the house. We have 4 wheel drive too. It's way to scary for me.

Absolutely heaven - thanks for sharing your views. You must have a hard time deciding which window to look out - the lake or the mountain.
Oh, and by the way, I liked the bigger pic better
