OT - Dakota LeAnn - It's that time again

Dakota is going to the oncologist today for chest xray, labs and physical exam. She is 15 months off treatment and its that time again ... So here I am to ask my SR family to lift her up in prayer. They will have to do a blood test today and she will be wide awake for it ... she does not receive shots without a fight so I can only imagine how this is going to turn out. It took 3 adults to hold her down just to get the flu shot. She fights and kicks (can't say I blame her after all she has already experienced at her age) It is that same fighters spirit that she needed to have to in order to help her beat kidney cancer.

Anyhow, once again your prayers are appreciated

My son always kicked and fought with shots, and when he grew up he got a tatoo! go figure! Anyway, I hope all things work out today. Prayers coming your way.

I posted this on Dakota's caringbridge webpage and in a new thread on SR, but thought I should put it here as well .... yesterdays appointment was canceled and to make a long story short the abd ultrasound had not been ordered so rather then do two separate visits we rescheduled. So next week on the 20th is when we go in for everything.

Please keep her in your prayers because once she finds out they need to draw blood an all out war is going to happen .. she's a fighter - Amen!

Thank you guys for all your prayers and support .. words cannot express just how much I appreciate them. Absolutely priceless.
