Hello everyone,
I'm new and am back to day 1. I am glad I came across this board, because although I do have a great desire to get sober, I know that I cannot do it without support.

I'm with ya! I'm new here too looking for support, this is day 2 for me. We can do this, I really want sobriety and need to not feel alone in this debacle. Glad we're here and not out there drinking.

Seems like a lot of us are starting at the same time. Hopefully we can all help each other. There are security in numbers and we can all do this together. Good luck to you,all the newcomers, and all the veterans that have put in some time and seen their lives improve.

Welcome aboard! There is lots of information to be gained by reading the stickies at the top of this board as well as the alcoholism and substance abuse boards (just depending on what your DOC which means drug of choice was/is). So while you are waiting for people to reply to a post or question go check out the stickies on the various boards.
Also, if you find yourself plagued by insomnia which is not that uncommon there is even a board for that!
I guess what I am trying to say is make yourself at home and go exploring. We are worldwide and so there are people up literally night and day and we have some really great people here!!
