My doctor put me on a antidepressent guess its takes time to work. Thanks for your help. Losing a child no matter the age is just hard I loved him no matter what he did my heart feels so empty. I pray I can overcome all of this.

Hi Maggie,
I'm glad that you went to the doctor. I found that after my mother died, the grief and stress caused me to be depleted of serotonin. Taking an antidepressant was a tremendous help as I had forgotton what it was like to just feel normal.
I'm very impressed with how you are handling things, and taking proper medical care of yourself is very wise.

((maggie)) Antidepressants take a few weeks to kick in. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know I can't imagine how it feels to lose a child.
