Hi all new to this
Hi everyone,
I'm a 24 yo wife and mother of three beautiful daughters. My addiction began when I was 12 I started using meth with my mother, became pregnant at 16 (while still using) quit, got married was sober until I was 20 when I had my second daughter and they put me on Klonipin went through every kind of Benzo there is was extremely addicted and quit cold turkey last year. Then my pain pill addictio got worse and worse I talking like 6-8 80 mg oxycontins a day. Needless to say I couldn't afford that habit anymore and being as my mom is a heroin addict I heaard how great it was and how cheap it was. well Here I am now 3 days sober. I contacted an addiction specialist and told the truth about everything, she put me on Suboxone, which seems to be working wonders, except she only put me on a week regimen which seems a little short from what I've read. If anyone could share their experiences with suboxone, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, welcome to SR! I dont have any experience with suboxone but someone will be along to help. You can also check out the substance abuse forum, they discuss suboxone on there sometimes. I'm glad you are reaching out for help.
Hi Destiny and welcome to SR.
It sounds like you have some valid questions and I "think" maybe this sub-forum might be helpful. There maybe someone in here that will answer too, but I think you could post your question there as well. Just copy and paste the whole post and start a new thread there. Just a thought.

Yikes, Destiny! Sounds like you've had quite a life already. I'm sorry that you've suffered so much with addiction. And in particular, that your mother treated you so terribly by getting you addicted. That's horrible. It sounds like you are really trying to pull your life together and to be a good mom. Good for you!! You deserve enormous credit for this. You are being a hero to your children and to yourself.
