Makes a difference to our thinking doesn't it? Finding others stories and struggles helps put our own in perspective, and takes our mind off doing nothing but sit and stew over our own problems for a bit. It can also turn a bright light on in our brain when we see a post that gives us a new insight or angle to what we are stuck on.
God bless the caring and helpful folk who post and give courage, hope and support to others in SR.

so true, so true. i made a huge mistake of dropping out of the forum for a couple of years and i got jellofied in my mind again.
my local al-anon disbanded and the nearest al-anon meeting is 50 miles one way. so needless to say, i didn't think it was worth it by going. wrong.
but i could have come hear each day to help myself and thought i was oh so well. wrong

I'm a completely different person when I am not getting enough sleep.
Everything is fifty times worse in my mind than it actually is. Everything.
Did you know there's an insomnia forum on this board?
Hugs, embraced
Glad we have you back.
