job interviews!!
I am very excited to announce that I have one job interview Friday, and one Monday. They are both entry level positions in the field that I am trying to get into and they are related to the training program that I just finished! This is part of my goal to get a job so that I can go back to being self-sufficient!!
ABF is starting intensive outpatient treatmnt today. I am concentrating on getting my stuff together so that my entire future doesn't depend on how well he does in recovery.
The only thing that concerns me is that I have had several interviews over the past couple months, but no job offers! So, I'm praying and hoping!

Congratulations on taking the steps to get interviews - to make a future for you whether or not the addict gets sober - and we hope he does, of course.
I've learned: if you take the action, the results will follow.
Good luck!

I've got my fingers crossed for you too. There IS a job out there with your name on it, it's just hard waiting for it to come. Here's hoping this is the one, but if it's not, just have faith in yourself and know that it will come your way.

Prayers for successful interviews.
And - just a little advice. If you haven't already done so, check on line for interview advice. Sometimes the smallest thing can make a difference. The sites also suggest some questions employers might ask and the most effective way to answer them.
Also, it pays to think about and even rehearse some answers to common questions.
Good Luck!
