Hope

I haven't been around as much. Just checking in. 51 days sober. Days 40-50 were rough. Seems to be getting a little better though. Working on me and working on the inside. Lots of changes going on in my life.

My grandma fell last night and hit her head on her wheelchair. She got a deep wound on her face and had to go to the ER for stitches. I was so scared. I love my grandma.

I know she is glad that I am sober and I can be there for her. The greatest expression of my love is being there for her.

Even in my darkest moments of life, I am grateful that I am present for life and can face the moments head on instead of running away.

Hide your shoes from your puppy and everything else. Ours chews everything and anything. She's a stinker! LOL! We love her any ways.

LOL, I definitely have to hide my shoes. My puppy already came close to ripping up one of my sweatshirts.

What kind of pup is he? We have an Australian Shepard and a Black Lab mix. We don't know what she's mixed with. Black Lab we got from a rescue and the Aussie found my Mom sitting out on her patio one evening. She was covered with ticks and starving. We believe she was born outside and never was in a house before. She's a smart dog. Took to housebreaking pretty easily, but eats like the food is going to run out. We have to watch her because she's getting a bit on the pudgy side.
