Waking up without a hangover, getting loads done during the days and yet still having a relaxing time?

I agree. Life still has it's ups and downs, always will I reckon but the benefits kick in after a while.

I tell you what I love. My memory is way better and it's driving the wife nuts. She says herself that she has to be careful what she says now because I'll remember and pull her on any anomolies later on. Had a memory like a sieve when I was boozing. What better incentive is there than driving the wife nuts by being sober? Mint !!

I watched Sex in The City (film) tonight, I bought it when it first came out on DVD but been too pissed to watch it until now. I might go mad and buy Mama Mia later today and watch it on the same day!!

Wibble, Timzup & Pixy - This is so wonderful to read & has improved my day greatly. I was in a bit of a slump, and then saw this. It helped me shake off the self pity I've been feeling lately. I sometimes wonder why I was so convinced I needed anesthesia to get through my life - such a waste of so many good years.

That THIS is it for me, too, but ...................... *JUST THIS* isn't enough. This board, that is. As my son said to me yesterday, "Mom, you can do THAT with a drink in your hand!!"

He's right. This just isn't enough. I am finding out that I need REAL, live, warm, face-to-face people. Do y'all understand? I'm not dogging a single person here and if THIS works for you, then fabulous. It's just not for me. I need more of a kick in the as$, I suppose.

I really wanted this. And, I truly, TOTALLY appreciate those of you who responded to my feeble first few posts. I do!!

Being a Taurus, I guess I'm too darn stubborn to look a gift horse in the mouth with appreciation. I need more!!

I'm loving waking up on a Monday morning and being able to remember what I did over the weekend.
Plus when I remember what I did I don't cringe at the state I got myself into.

Pixx, loving watching movies that i've already seen but can't remember the endings!!!!
