Wink Ain't that the truth - a joke y'all can relate to...

During the French Revolution, two alcoholics and a codependent are sentenced to the guillotine. The first alcoholic mounts the platform and places his head in the guillotine. When the blade falls, it mysteriously stops right before it severs his head.
Astonished, the executioner proclaims it a miracle and frees the alcoholic. The second alcoholic steps to the platform and places his head in the guillotine. Again, the blade falls but mysteriously stops right before it severs his head. He, too, is freed by the astonished executioner.
The third prisoner, the codependent, steps up on the platform, examines the blade and says, "I think I can fix this!"

:codiepolice <------- a reminder for me today

oh yeah, and here's another joke that was told to me very recently, by my STBXAH:

"You know, I never did drink as much as you thought I did, you really overestimated my drinking."

Funniest thing I had heard all week............

well done maam, well done, both made me laugh

How many practicing alcoholics does it take to change a lightbulb?

one, they just hold the lightbulb in the socket and drink until the room starts spinning

How many sober alcoholics does it take to change a lightbulb?

One, they just hold the lightbulb in the socket because the world revolves around them don'tcha know

How many alanoners does it take to change a lightbulb?

none, they detach and let the lightbulb screw itself

(i actually got those off this forum and couldn't find the thread to give proper credit, beg pardon)
