I was here off and on for the last few years. And thought I had everything under control. A lot has changed in my life and some things don't. I left my ex who is an active Crack addict 3 years ago now and have moved on in my life in a lot of ways. But kept hoping some day he'd "get it" and want to be clean and sober again and we'd find our way back together. He hasn't. And I just starting hearing from him 6 months ago and it's tearing me up.

I'm sorry that hearing from him is hurting you so badly. I hope you will take good care of You in the meantime. You didn't cause it and you can't cure it, but you can take good care of yourself.

There are a lot of supportive people here. There is also a Friends and Family forum where a lot of people are in similar positions to yours. They may well have some good advice or info to help you help yourself.

I'm glad you're here and want to help any way I can.

If nothing has changed in 3 yrs. Then just pray for him and go about your business.
