Im lost
Long story short, I Am on Day 4. Pretty sure I have been abusing alcohol for 18 years. I dont drink every day but maybe a few times a week. When I drink I go all out. I dont just have 2 or 3 I have 8 or 9 or more.I drink Vodka Sodas. My mind is telling me just clean out for a few days and then you can go back to it and be able to go out like most my friends and only have a couple. Some people I care about are concerned about my Binge drinking. I want to stop and be clear headed. I stopped in 1995 for about 3 months and felt amazing. I somehow came back to the dark side again.

SR is definitely the right place to find support. Your story sounds like many of ours... so happy being sober but somehow drawn back into drinking. There are also a lot of people here who have conquered it and have tons of advice. I hope you'll take a look around and keep posting - we have a class of November thread here and a bunch of threads for how long you've been sober. You're welcome to post on any of them though

There is a lot of support here- You have come to the right place and when
you are ready know that you are not alone in this.
