Hi,
I am happy to have found this forum today.
I just returned from a 3 day stay at an inpatient recovery center where I learned about chemical dependancy, learned my son is an alcoholic/addict, and relearned about MY codependancy.
I have found a couple of Al-Anon groups in my area, plan to attend, find a sponsor and do what I can for myself as support for my son in his recovery.
I am so thankful for the Sundown M Ranch and their family program.
Thank you and God Bless
:praying

Big Sky, welcome to sober recovery! Read around and get to know us all. Lots of new people come in the door every day, and it is a very good, supportive community for people who are going through what you're going through. The "sticky" posts at the very top of the forum's first page were especially helpful to me when I was first starting on my road to recovery and sanity.
Hugs to you,
GL

Wow, inpatient for codependency. I'm insanely jealous!

Thanks everyone for your warm welcomes.
Regarding the inpatient for codependancy, it was WONDERFUL. What a great program; I should have had it years ago! Better late than never, I say.
Thanks again.
