Update on Chris~~~~

Just before I walked out the door this morning to go shopping the phone rang. Guess who?? Duey answered and it was Chris. They had a nice talk but Duey did tell him that I was going to find my way up there this afternoon and get a handle on what was upif we hadn't heard from him...He is working!! He moved this past week-end, forgot about dinner and lost his phone in the meantime....It had showed no action for a few days so that could be true.......but I don't trust anymore. Someday that may come back but for now I'm still upset that he forgot the dinner date for his b'day which is Sunday. I just figured with my surgery I may not be up to it..So we have tenitive plans for him to come here Sunday and we'll order pizza and wings. Right now I'm not to happy with him and madder at myself for putting myself through all the worries. I guess I will get better at this and stay on my own side of the street....Thanks for all the caring posts. HUgs, Bonnie

Bonnie, I am happy for you that he phoned and there is no bad news...:bounce
it was a helpful exercise though, eh. ...don't be too hard on yourself, I found that I learned something useful each time I went through a similar exercise ..lol...and yes , you will get better at this
now you can focus on your surgery on Friday, and look forward to dinner with Chris and Duey on sunday.
you will be in my thoughts and prayers on friday....hug: Grateful

As long as everything worked out I wouldnt stress the rest. Just be happy he is okay and you can put it behind you. The way i look at it is i wont be the person i'm going to be until that very last breath I take.

Sometimes I'd rather be mad than sad...or worried. Maybe your HP nudged him a bit to make contact. Think of the gas you saved

Now sounds like a great time to concentrate on you and your surgery.
Wishing you peace and speedy healing
((((Hugs))))

(((Bonnie)))

I'm glad you heard from him.

No matter how many times I've worried about something then wanted to kick myself later for all the worrying, I still worry a bit...I'm just not doing it for as long

Progress, not perfection.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy
