hey guys,
i really appreciate all your advice and i have an update for you... well i kind of have my financial situation figured out... i talked to the hospital and i set up a payment plan. I told my situation to the aunt of my friend who killed fimself and she has offered to loan me some money as well as the father of the baby has given me some money to borrow. Unfortunately because my car is a piece of junk i now have to pay two thousand dollars to fix the breaks. To end with some good news though... i have quit dealing and i haven't had a drink in almost two days... which is big for me... and i've been drug free for almost a week... which again i know isn't saying much but i'm happy about it... and finally i just returned home from my first aa meeting. i dont really know if it is truely going to help but i am willing to try anything.

Not drinking for 2 days is big and so is not using for almost a week!!!!! What you are doing is something that is very hard to do....I hope you keep trying the meetings...face to face contact with others with a similar problem can really help.

Getting out of the dealing is going to be a huge!!!! help to maintaining your sober/clean time!!!!

Two days without drinking and a week w/o using as awesome. It's a great start. Everyone starts somewhere right ?

Telling your Aunt and the baby's father is huge too!

So is going to the meeting!

And quitting dealing? I'm very proud of you for that especially.
