i've been doing a lot of thinking and writing lately, tryin to sort some stuff out in my head. i had a "lightbulb moment" this morning: whenever i really don't want to call someone in the program, it usually means thats what i need to do. very simple i guess. but i finally got it. just thought i'd share that.

Glad you got it. It is like I was told: if someone says something in the meeting that I did no like, it is probably something I needed to hear.

Don't ya just love when something "clicks" in your brain? I can hear something a million times, but I guess it doesn't "click" until it's supposed to.

I understand completely Mike. I kept trying and failing at sobriety but once I "got it", it's a lot easier staying sober. And so enjoyable too. No more alcohol-related problems.

Awesome, Matt! You are more on your way than your sick brain may lead you to believe. I think most recovering addicts/alcoholics had the same revelation at some point during our recovery, I know I did.
