First day to a new beginning?

I 'm new. This would be my second time trying to quit drinking. I have been on a binge for really long. I went to the bar to watch a pool tournament, and didn't have one sip of alcohol. It caught up with me finally.

And glad to see you are seeking recovery - it really is the best option!

My advice to you would be to read as many posts as possible and learn from where others have got it right and wrong - it can be done - and there IS a solution!

Well done for taking the first big step! Hope to see you around a lot more!

Yep, read and look around. I don't know what I'd be doing now without this place. And most importantly - DON'T DRINK! If we can resist opiates we can resist alcohol!
