1st night without drinking - welcom to Queenie

Please welcome Qeenie1 to SR...this is her first night without drinking and she could use the support of all of us as she goes through this.

Welcome to a wonderful place Queenie1. You've just found a great family. We are understanding and supportive and we help ourselves stay clean and sober by helping others stay clean and sober.

Hang out for a while. Make friends. Read our stories. I give my friends here a great deal of credit for my wanting to stay sober. They never gave up on me, even when I'd given up on myself.

Welcome - tell us how you are doing when you feel better and also stay on here for support. It really does help. I couldn't have made my 2.5 months without this place. Well, maybe but it would have been a heck of a lot harder on me than it had to be.
