OT - Really Nervous, Need Support
I'm going to be crazy, busy tomorrow, so I thought I'd write this post today in case I can't get on the computer tomorrow.
I need support and prayers from my cyber friends here on SR!
A year ago, I signed up to walk in a 60 Mile (yes, that's 60 Miles!) journey to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. It's called the Breast Cancer 3-Day, and we walk 20 miles a day for 3 days.
My Mom is an 11 year breast cancer survivor; and, I've lost my Aunt, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother all to this disease. So, it's a really important cause for me.
My walk begins on Friday - and I am soooo nervous!! I mean really, 60 miles?? What the hell was I thinking!?!
If you all could just send me some 'positive vibes' and some prayers to keep my feet walking for those 60 miles, I would really appreciate it!! And, a prayer or two that I don't trip and break an ankle or leg (I'm very clumsy!) or something too would be great!
I wish all of you a wonderful, peaceful weekend! I took Monday off work to recover, so I'll update on how the walk went, and whether or not I can still walk, then.
Peace and Hugs to all!! :HONYnewyear025firew

I guess you will have 60 miles of lots of thoughts running through your precious head. I will most definitly be thinking of you and sending strength your way. You are amazing to do this. What were you thinking?.......ummmmmm that you are AWESOME!
Yea, good job....root root.

I have never done the walk but I do the run every year. I have lost a crowd of loved ones to breast cancer.
I've always wanted to do the long walk -- think of the friends you'll make, the love that will surround you. For three days!!! :ghug
Carry my gratitude and blessings with you, every step you take, tormented.

Walking 60 miles for someone. WOW!! Bless your kind heart and I hope very strong legs.
May angels carry you if you weary, and may all the rooting for you from us here give your feet wings.
