Lordy...Lordy

Yes, congratulations are in order...

Oldest 35 year old, AS just called...(court has been postponed until Dec. or January)
and he called to give Mr. Moose (I wasn't home) the wonderful news, his GF (who is 18) is 5 months pregnant. Point me to the nearest bridge, would ya?

We went through this pregnancy news last Spring while we were in Florida.
Obviously, she didn't carry through with that pregnancy, I thought perhaps she had an abortion, no one said, and I didn't ask.

If she is 5 months now, she obviously became pregnant in April?

Lordy, lordy....

Well Moose~ Its good to hear that your sons case has been postponed for a while (well~good for him anyways))....but you made me chuckle with the pregnancy news. Isn't it amazing how things just never stop?? I'm just starting to feel comfortable with my son but I'm also waiting for the other shoe to drop. Your well into your recovery and know just how to handle things so its good to hear the humor in your posts.....Smiles, Bonnie

Congradulations! Sometimes the most inappropriate gift, turns out to be the best gift of all.

I do hope you are looking for that bridge to enjoy the scenery. LOL

Hugs and Prayers

Moose,
I also said oh no she isn't going to jump, she just wants to look at the scenery from it.
I know you will love the little one, they will be victims to this madness too. Maybe this is your sons HP giving him the reason to stay clean, you never know.
Your recovery is shinning.
Hugs coming your way

Why is it that anything they do can still surprise us...bless their hearts.

Take a deep breath, Moose, and know that everything happens for a reason and that there is a gift in here somewhere.

Prayers for all of them, especially the little grandmoose.

Hugs

((( moose )))

I read this and said "of course she is". Hopefully she'll learn from you about the wonderful blessings that come from Al Anon meetings.

Shall we plan a baby shower?

Thanks ctrom40, for the clip...gosh who couldn't love a sweet hairy babies like those two?

The bridge I was going to was the "Reflecting bridge"
I was going to sit there, and "reflect" what a wonderful turn of event this may be for my son, and perhaps he may even be a better person, (and hopefully father) for it.

Our H.P. always has some breathtaking news for us at times in our lives, I just want to make sure I view this as POSITIVE news...

Hugs...

I always say that God's special gifts come strangely wrapped and we just never know when He's sending one our way. Since this gift is strangely wrapped, it can only be something good, yes?

Hugs

It's a girl moose. When I responded earlier, I kept wanting to say "her". Cat's refers to "her". I think she will be a "mini me" to grandma.

Lordy-Lordy is right.

And in 5 months will the mother post, on this board, that she thought a baby would make her soul mate change his ways?

Congratulations Moose. I know you will make a great grandmother and as the others have said, you just never know, this may be the best gift that you will ever receive. Hugs, Marle
