fail down again

This may sound crazy, just knowing that I won’t wake up with a foggy head tomorrow (like I did today) is making me smile; even though I’m having a difficult day

One day at a time and keep your eye on the prize.

The first three steps are the hardest, Patty...but, you don't have to climb the other nine all at once. This will get easier and easier...just be patient and give yourself a chance. We're always here for you!

Hi Patty,
As a few people have said, take things a day at a time and it will all get better. If things get too much, take it an hour at a time. Do you have plenty of support? Good Luck!

grateful

I'm grateful for today in many ways; I owned up to my alcohol problem to my partner and spent the day doing working with others on a community service fund raiser; I'm tired and sober; I'm working on building support and will be able to go to more meetings in the evenings which should help a lot; I appreciate all the support I getting here at SR;
