glad to hear that TANHO weathered ike! mr tanho is gonna be busy, since he works for the electric company ... wowza.
didn't get to see the newfie band yesterday, since it was an outside show with all the rain and all. went to see "burn after reading" - not a great coen bros movie, but pretty funny.
gonna get a jump on monday and make a meatloaf today

Hi my friends. Had a good nights sleep with A/C. Now I am trying to figure out what to do about my Mom's surgery. I don't know when they can do it in Houston. Still haven't seen my house. Reports are good though.

Hi Babes !
So, I have a few good things happening finally I think.
First of all, my instructor needs a receptionist just to answer the phone and take messages for a few hours a day, a few times a week. Possibly vacuum the studio every so often. No one else has approached her, so I asked about it yesterday and I'm starting that in October. Mon/Wed/ Fri from 11am to 2pm or so. Bad thing is she can't pay. Good thing is that I'll get my monthly pass plus one workshop per month as compensation. So I'm saving Mr. GT a few bucks and I still get to do my yoga as often as I like. She also told me I can tell the hubby that 1. I'm saving him money on the pass and 2. To tell him I'll be teaching kids yoga SOON!!! She didn't exactly say when but soon is good enough and I'll be getting paid a little sumthin sumthin for it :bounce.
Then...She gave me 2 tickets to a Kirtan last night she wasn't going to use. It was close by, and it was cool. I brought the teen and she brought her friend (who had to buy her own ticket) and THEY LIKED IT. We took pictures with the guy, he prolly thought we were weird. I did get his CD's though so what the hey! Girish Music
Real estate agent came by this morning and we discussed what amount to list our house for. Still not sure if we're going to try to sell or try to hang on to it and rent but...
We made a verbal offer on the other house!!!
