Now What
Goodness, just doesn't seem that life can ever be easy. LOL, well you know that I have a plan, but life doesn't follow it. My AD had been in rehab for 2 weeks, doing well, then on Friday she fell playing kick-ball and broke 2 bones in her ankle. They sent her to the hosp, but have been no help to her since. (ie no ice, or help with carrying stuff) so she is now on her way home. Now she has not only her recovery from addiction to deal with, but also getting around with crutches. And of course now I'm asking myself all the questions, how's she going to: get to meetings, take care of the 6 mo old, get up&down in her home...........And I know that SHE has to find a way....so I'm posting here to keep MYSELF from suggesting the solutions.
I just needed to get that out of my system.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to offer up suggestions. If she asks for your opinion, give it. It's not really solving the problem for her at all if she's seeking answers. As long as she does the work then I think your ideas would be a welcoming help to her and appreciated.

UPDATE....as you know I have been wondering...now what is going to happen to my AD's recovery. I have not mentioned her program to her, but waited. This morn she told me she has been calling program friends...to see if she could get a ride to meetings.
Good news to my ears. I told her that I would be willing to take her also.
