Anybody esle here from Toronto and/or southern Ontario?
I recently spent some time 'in the rooms' up in Ottawa as well. Anybody?

Welcome to our Northern Neighbor from the Lower Forty-Eight...New Jersey Shore, to be exact!
Yup...alcoholism/addiction knows no boundaries. We even had a long-running thread here called Hands Across Time Zones. People posted from all over the USA, plus Australia, Canada, France, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Japan, Netherlands.

Thanks for the welcome. It’s good to be here. It’s great to be alive , crazy , clean ‘n sober.
Just a little bit about myself. I am not new in recovery. Have been around the various rooms since 1983 – and had multi-yrs twice b4… am however recently returned. Am new to this forum… belong to other discussion forums of different themes… this is my first ‘recovery’ oriented one.
I recently returned to Toronto as well, after 6 or 7 months in Ottawa where I did spend a lot of time ‘in the rooms’. In fact happy to say been clean pretty much most of this yr save a couple ‘long-week-ends’ here and there. Moved to Toronto when I was 15yrs old from Northern Ontario and never looked back. Have lived in other cities over the yrs… (including Vancouver where I had my first experience in recovery way bk in the early/mid 80’s) but Toronto is my home. Seems no matter where I go… always end up back in good old TO. I love TO!
Don’t have as much time or access to be on here or internet in general as I did have in recent past… am however looking forward to checking out all the other sections here and taking part. Part of my ‘getting active’ plan. Looking forward to meeting/chatting with all you all.
Clean ‘n sober 24 to everyone.
