Last Saturday alive...This Saturday in a cemetery!

Well, the funeral for my husband's cousin Timmy is over. It is hard to believe that last Saturday he was alive and now he is laying in a cemetery!

He was only 22 years old and now he is gone. Why? Because he has the same disease we do that wants to KILL US and he never thought it would happen to him! Do you think it will happen to you if you pick up another drink? Probably not.

*If you could pray for his mother Kelly, I would really appreciate it! He was her only son.

Definitely will pray for his Mom. How awful! I am so deeply sorry Jen. It is an awful disease and you're right it needs to be taken seriously and dealt with.

My Prayers to your Family, especially Timmy's Mom. I cannot imagine anything more horrible than burying your only child.

I know how hard it is to post things like this. Just last night I posted the loss of 2 of my Family Members yesterday from this horrible disease. Two different sides of my Family . . . the same deadly disease.

My Sobriety is even more precious to me today than ever.

Thank you for sharing your Families loss with us, Jen. The fact that so many are dying from this disease needs to be shared more than just the whispered words in the corner of a funeral home.
