day 2

well it is day 2, friday doesn't help, wondering if anybody would share their timeline to start feeling a reward for the pain. ie when does the pain stop. thanks...................

anxiety, depression, blurred vision, no energy. shakes, cravings, today is worse than yesterday.........................

you under medical care, mac? it's not always safe to detox without medical help. can you go to an er?

have you looked into aa meetings or any other support groups?

Yeah, if you get really bad, please go to the hospital. Hang in there! You'll find lots of support here at SR. Keep reading and posting.

no medical care, after years of abuse i guess one should expect some pain. just wondering what to expect during detox.

Read the "sticky" at the top of the Alcholism forum titled "quitting, what we did" There's lots of advice there for what to expect during detox. The first few days are the hardest, but after a week you should start feeling more human.

Keep coming back here. Read the posts and gain a lot of understanding. Lots of support here!
