Good day

Hi All

I have just had a great day, i am so happy today. My daughter passed her exams and is now able to go to Art college.

This is the daughter that kept me awake at night, painted on my walls, peed in a toilet that was on display in a bathroom store all those years ago.

Today she walked to the car with her results in her hand and the biggest smile. I am so proud of my daughter. She suffers from chronic asthma and vocal cord dysfunction and has over the last 2 years missed 48% of school (who beleive that asthma is not serious enough an illness for her to ger home tuition) so she has done all this herself, not bad yeah.

today i looked at my daughter as a young lady, a strong, determined beautiful being, and am so inspired by her strength.

Today i posted a happy story, and ive a feeling i will be posting happy for a while. Life is good.

That is great!!

See, the painting on your walls was just a prelude to her going to art school!

Give yourself a pat on the back, too....kids who do well, usually have at least one parent to thank!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Thank you for your story. Right before I read your post I was scraping Pop Tart off a wall from a 4 yr old and wiping "pee-pee" off the floor from a 2 yr old who refuses to keep his diaper on. You've given me some hope!
