GRRRR Ive taken my antibuse so Im not going to drink but having a C*ap day and its just started!! Im having to learn how to deal with things without wanting to drink I know alcohol is not the answer and Im happy that antibuse is helping me make that desison all I can hope is tommorow will be different.

Hang tight angie it gets better. I read somewhere that life is really 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. I would have to say I agree.

This morning started out kinda "crappy" for me with a phone call from my son, yet again another crisis....Grrrr...I was stewing as I went for my morning run....reacting negatively to the phone call...letting my emotions run amuck...until I saw a transport van picking up a young boy in a wheel chair..... YIKES!!!! There will come a time when I will no longer need obvious reminders of the blessings bestowed upon me...until then I need to remember "crappy" is a relative term.

Tomorrow will be better, you will be one day stronger. Stay focused and stay strong!

I wish I could offer more but I'd say hugs are about it, theres not alot anyone can say I don't think... Good on you for taking your meds, it about making an 8pm decsion at 8am so my Pastor used to say when I was taking antabuse. Protecting yourself from your thought patterns by making it inaccessable. Keep it up.

aww thanks for all for being so lovely. yes I will get there I know I cant drink cause of the auntibuse I may want to but lordy I dont want that side affect ( scares the heck out of me! ) Im taking a deep breathe and it will pass

Hey ang,

Yeah-this is the hard part.Not drinking is just the beginning-then we have to start dealing with life 'awake' as such.I know it's tough but I also know you can do it.
