Ang, I remember when you were struggling to string days together, so I can't tell you how pleased I am for you. You're often over in the blog section supporting others and I really appreciate your willingness to help newly recovering addicts and alcoholics. Thank YOU for being here, and for sharing your journey. Well done on 6 months!
First of all--thank you all for your support. It sure means alot!
Rowan--yes...how I do remember the vicious cycle (merry-go-round) of not so long ago. I hope I never forget what I've been through to get where I am today. And yes--SR has turned me into a "professional blogger"....hehe! So people>keep blogging (especially the newbies) and if I see it--you bet I'll try to say something that has helped me in my recovery journey with the hope that it might also help you. We are all here to help one another stay sober "one day at a time".
P.S. Rowan--I almost posted that dancing kitty you have on your signature...but I saw this other kitty and posted him instead. Great minds must think alike! HEHE!

"Only" on day 4? You are a living miracle--those first few days/weeks were the toughest for me...you are the "true inspiration". Keep up the good work! Keep moving forward--no matter what life throws your way. You don't have to drink/use no matter what. That is what my recovery program has taught me. Hang in there! :ghug3

I'm so grateful to have you hear to share sobriety through uncharted waters with. When it comes to carrying the message I can't think of anyone I would rather have by me cyber side then you. I remember the day we were 12 stepping a guy in chat when he suddenly made the decision to go to a meeting right then and there. I don't know about you but for a moment I had to stop and catch my breath over what had just happened. The back to back meetings on Surrender and Psychic Change were very spiritual for me along with the many talks we have had about God and carrying the message in general.
Thank you for your willingness to be an instrument of peace. You are a gift for all who are willing to receive.
Larry.
