Finding a sponsor

I am working on day 35, and I still do not have a sponsor. The problem is I feel embarrassed to ask. (Kind of like the first time I asked a girl out). I have numbers, get along with people, but I need help working the steps (1 to 3 I work daily). Any advice?

Well.... it is all part of the 'growth' process to ask for help.

Determine who would be a good person to assist you with doing the steps and decide to take a 'test'.

Your 'test' is to approach that person and ask them to be your sponsor.

(WE hate asking for anything, WE want to do it all on our own, but our way wasn't working, right? I'm the same way, you're not alone.)

I always give it to my new sponsees

Well done on your progress

rudy, i too had to ask for a sponsor...

glad i did...

now, as i have moved foward in my time around the rooms and recovery..

if i see someone with a real willingness to get better, i give them a call, and just ask... ya ready to get work'n?

i'm not saying you wait for someone to ask you... just it does work both ways...

good wishes on finding a good sponsor rudy...
