Looking for support
High I am 19 and have been using drugs since I was 15 I started smoking pot and it moved on to cociane opiates hallcianagines sp and other drugs. Right now my addiction is to perscription medications. I take alot of Benzos and Opiates I need to get clean because I am in school and have scholorships and dont want to throw my life away. I am very thankful to find this forum.

You are being courageous by coming here and admitting your problem. That's a huge step. The desire to stop using is an enormous hurtle that you've just jumped. Good for you!
Being here can be helpful and even invaluable in many ways. I hope you stay. I found it very important in my initial sobriety and even now (I'm coming up on 6 months).
But I hope that you also find an AA group for narcotics (I don't know what they're called)on campus. I'd bet there is one.
Also, a trip to the campus medical clinic is probably important. Just to make sure you don't hurt yourself when you are coming off the pills. That can be very serious.
Good for you for coming here. I'm proud of you. And everyone who cares about you would be too if they knew.

nice to meet you, frankie. i have a 24 year old daughter that lost her chance to complete college successfully her first go around, because of alcohol and cocaine addiction. so you're smart to recognize your problem. i agree with mle-sober - see what resources are available on your campus through the health center. and reach out to your mom and/or dad if you are in a situation where they may help you. either way, go to adults you trust.
