New Here
Hello, I am new to this site and wanted to introduce myself.
I am not an alcoholic or an addict but an al-anon. My husband of 11 years has been in recovery for 4 years now and for the first two years I went to face-to-face meetings and now I just go on line.
I still read my litarature and that helps keep me sane and I still say the serenity prayer regular.
My husband told me about this site and when I looked at it I noticed the section for family/friends of alcoholics so I thought I would check it out.
P.S. If I have posted this in the wrong section, I appologize.

Thank you and I will check out the other sections.
My husband is an awesome man I could see the potential in him from the beginning it just had to be his choice to get sober and stay that way. My job was to get sane.
It was a rough 6 mths or so in the beginning of the recovery process but with all the tools I gained it made/makes it easier later on. I never forget those tools and if I do I can just go back to the books for a refresher and now this forum.
Thanks again.
