just an update
Just wanted to give you all an update on me. I am doing great!! Dating a great guy and finally stress free and happy! XABF is still using, still involving everyone he can in his drama. His mother and I still talk but I limit our communication to just a hello and stuff once a week and his daughter is away at camp. I cannot tell you how good it feels to finally be free. It took some time to trust in this new relationship, but I am working on it. It really is something when you can consider a lover a friend as well. Well, that's really all thats going on here.....just wanted to give an update. Hope everyone is OK!

I am so happy for you and so glad to hear from you with the update! It takes a lot of wisdom and strength to do what you did - it certainly has made a huge difference in your life. Addiction is a life long disease.....and a lot to sign on for. I wish that I had had the clarity that you did (should woulda coulda) but that's beside the point!
You've learned a lot through this experience and these are wonderful tools to have through life.
