This is really unexpected!! :ghug:ghug
Well, I turn 40 today!!! I can not tell you how much it means to me that I am hitting this milestone in my life sober.
I am so grateful for that.
I am taking the day off of work and meeting my Mom at the beach for breakfast in Del Mar (her birthday is tomorrow) and then I am going to get my first tattoo! It is going to be a tree of life that I stole from an artist. It is going to represent my growth and new life. I am really excited and really nervous. I am going to put it on my upper back. Then later my family and I are going to the gym. I know that sounds silly but that is important to me, I always work out on Tueday and it is part of my new life
Then we are going to dinner.
I always take the day off for my birthday and the last several years I have gotten wasted. I am thrilled that is not me today.
Thank you all again. I am so happy that I found SR and get to share my recovery with all of you.
