I haven't been around for a while so I thought I would drop in and let you all know how I'm doing and say thank you again for the wonderful advice you all gave me. I thank you so so so so so very much.
It's been over three months now since I finally split from the alcoholic ex boyfriend after he trashed my dads house leaving me no choice to get him arrested. I cried so so much over everything, over him - the poor man who is struggling with his demons, he can't help it, he's really nice, really!
I can't believe I put up with so much for so long. I just wanted to let you all know how happy I am. I go on holiday tomorrow to Paphos with a girlfriend. AND I also have a new boyfriend! its early days but I feel like my heart is melting. He's a complete gentleman. He's beautiful. He keeps telling me I'm lovely, I'm wonderful. I find it so hard to be complimented, I'm not used to it. At all. Each day I spend with him and he does something wonderful just magnifies all of the crap I put up with with the ex.
Well sorry to go all mushy, I just wanted to share my experiences. I was so scared to leave the ex, scared of the future. Turns out the future is a whole lot sunnier.
