This is from July 5th of my Keep It Simple book, and I thought, "How appropriate...especially for all of us."
Yes, I'm finally back...for all of you who've waited and wondered. My nephew finally managed to come over and straighten out my pc, so I can get back among my good buddies here at SR. It's only been since March that I haven't been able to log in...and, ooooooh how I've missed you!!!
Something happened back then that kept me off the internet. My niece's family were all sick with a flu bug, we had a huge snow storm, her CPA husband wound up with heart problems, followed by his busy tax season...all in all, no time to mess with my pc. But, being the impatient, resourceful alcoholic that I am, I decided to "fix things" myself! I got back on the internet alright...but, managed to mess up my email and sites like SR that I no longer had access to. Whew! That, in a nutshell, is why I haven't been able to keep in touch here.
However, thanks to the resourcefulness of Gypsy Tears, she found a way to get through to me at this nursing home and I know she's let everyone know I'm OK...just SR deprived and missing you.
Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes sent my way over the past several months. I feel like a Newbie getting "back to basics". It's so good to be "home", and I hope never to be away so long again.
