Help! I am becoming addicted...
...to this forum. Have been on here for 2 hours this morning and hours last night. (I will lie and say it was jsut a couple). There are dogs waiting to be walked but no...am tapping away instead.
Realised an hour ago that I was the last post on half of the new forums. Then looked at others but trouble trying to post about dealing with drunken son when my dogs don't drink. Ditto cheating hubbys (Dogs are not allowed out unless on lead! Oh and they are neutered!!)
I must drag myself away (and into the freezing world outside...)

substation of one addiction for another........
i have a you tube addiction as well...but have found myself here as often as possible. i need to be with other people.......i have also blown off chores and ignored the phone and my pets. but feel that right now its best........ive been here for four days (today, if i make it through, will be 4 days clean. so even if my home is still falling....im cleaning myself up. to clean one thing...something else must get dirty.
dont feel bad. listen to your pets and take care of your self...the dishes can wait. they will be there when your ready.

There have been times I've been on this site for probably 4 or more hours at a time. When I can't sleep at night I go and read the older posts, especially in the 12-Step forum. There are a lot of interesting debates in there.
Once you've been here a while, you will develop some "favorite" posters and always check to see what they have to say. Personally, I follow threads to see how some people on this site will respond to newbies, the oldtimes, the drama, etc.
