Hi Herrara your not the only one going trough it
I'm also going trough a ruff time with my spouse
and i also wonder how could i give him so much power to get me to
the point of been depressed
I'm miserable and unhappy with him I try everything in my
power to make it work but to no avail,so I hope that this too shall pass

Hang in there, relationships are not easy but think of it as an opportunity to grow. Also, I don't know if you like to read but if you do read Codependent No More. It taught me to not let others control my thought, feelings and actions. I've been through the whole if my boyfriend is upset it ruins my day, never again, that's HIS problem.:atv
Good advice AW. If someone else is having a bad day - tough s---! I came to the conclusion many years ago that when I wake up in the morning and complete my body-check routine, (i.e., make sure that nothing is laying on the floor that should be attached to me), that I have options. I can be as happy or as sad as I want to be. We tend to let one thing click our brain into the "depress" mode when there are hundreds of positive things that we forget about and that should click us into the "it's a great day" mode.
The next time a SO snarls at one of you just smile, pinch 'em on the cheek and tell him or her that you are sorry that they are having a bad day and keep on walking.....
