I Am Codie!!! A Little Friday Fun
It`s time for a little Friday Fun for us codies, and I thought maybe we could make up a new recovery song. 
I`ll go first, since I thought it up, hahaha, and then let each one of you add a verse to our new Codie Anthem.
With apologies to Helen Reddy...
I am Codie hear me snore, cause I don’t worry anymore
The nights of chaos don’t affect my peace of mind
Sleeping with my purse and keys
Or living in my A’s disease
Are all behaviours I have finally left behind.

But it's wisdom born of pain

If I have to, I can do anything

I am invincible (invincible)
I am Codie!!!
To my meetings I will run, for some step work and some fun
And work 12 steps and share and maybe more
And I’ll connect with SR friends
Where our recovery never ends
And welcome each newcomer at the door...

And we don’t provide a high-thread counted sheet
We just share our troubles here
And lend supportive ear
And together we walk down Recovery Street...

It took me....oh, about 5 minutes 
I'll be out this morning but back later to check the chorals and please, don't anyone worry about the words or singing in tune....the worse we are, the more likely to be heard.

Okay, we got us a couple of singer and two doo-wop backup gals, well a gal and a dancing mooselady, but we need a few more if we are going to be "discovered" and get to take the Codie Bus on tour!!

To get my life together
with alot less on my plate..
With a year of therapy
and some alanon here and there~~
I've got to step aside and let~~~
