Getting high off of the "pink cloud"?

"Relapses" and "recovery" from these "relapses" allow me to go on emotional binges. But this not real recovery.

...Thoughts (on how to stop?)?

I think you're right. I did that too, and I think I was still buying into the drama.

Real recovery, in my opinion, is peaceful.

Try to focus on today. I think if you focus on recovery and relapses, it might be overwhelming. Just take care of today.

I think because when you first start recovery, you are all hepped up and excited. After a while, the new wears off and it's just work. At least, that's MHO.
