This is the information my therapist recommended as I'm struggling with forgiveness to be able to move on from the hurt my exabf caused. I never quite understood what others here meant by forgiving someone else within me to be able to move on. I think it is a very helpful tool. Hope it helps those that are having a tough time with letting go....

I certainly found that forgiving my AH for, well everything lifted a weight off my shoulders. Carrying the anger and pain was toxic to me.
